Alexander Kirillov is a research scientist at Facebook AI Research (FAIR), working on computer vision. He received a PhD in computer science from Heidelberg University, Germany under the supervision of Carsten Rother in 2018. His main research interests are visual reasoning and structured computer vision problems. His work has appeared at CVPR, ICCV, NIPS and ICRA. He is a primary member of the team that won COCO Stuff Segmentation challenge in 2017. He organized COCO Panoptic Segmentation challenge at ECCV’18.
